HMR Statistics and Data Management support major NHS study
We are delighted that our comprehensive Statistics and Data Management service has contributed to a pioneering, new and improved, bowel cancer screening test (faecal immunochemical home test kit or FIT). The research study, done in collaboration with the NHS, aimed to establish the diagnostic accuracy of FIT in symptomatic patients. The success of this study means the test will be rolled out to everyone aged 60 and over in autumn 2018. In future, the plan is to offer this more accurate test to everyone in England from the age of 50.
